PRODUCT PROPERTIES

X-tra MIX is a mixture made of Portland cement, quartz, selected sands and active chemical composites which react with various mineral composites and with the humidity of the fresh concrete matrix forming an insoluble crystal network which closes the porosity and the micro cracks. Hence the structure becomes waterproof to water and to contaminating agents.
X-tra MIX waterproofs and protects all structures in concrete, manufactures and materials which contain Portland cement increasing their durability.

APPLICATION FIELDS

X-tra MIX is employed as an additive in the project concrete mix to waterproof and chemically protect concrete structures from the very start in the casting phase.
X-tra MIX is normally used on all concrete structures, both vertical and horizontal, such as:
• Foundation platforms and containment walls;
• Underground parkings and floors;
• Marine works, harbours and docks;
• Depuration and composting plants, sewages;
• Water containment basins, fountains, swimming pools, fire and first-rain basins;
• Water basins, hydric ducts, irrigation channels, tunnels, subways;
• Civil and military engineering works like bridges, dams, bunkers;
• Prefabricated concrete works
