X-tra LQ

PRODUCT PROPERTIES

X-tra LQ is a transparent aqueous based mixture which contains silicon-reactive compounds. Once it is applied, X-tra LQ creates crystalline composites which waterproof and protect in depth and in a permanent way all structures in concrete, manufactures and materials which contain Portland cement. The penetration in concrete of X-Tra LQ uses water as a vehicle both in positive thrust and in counterthrust. No reaction occurs when water is absent. In contact with water instead, the chemical components are activated and they continue the penetration process and the formation of insoluble crystals internal to the concrete, even long time after the application.

X-tra LQ reduces the formation of moulds and bacteria aggression.

APPLICATION FIELDS

X-tra LQ is normally used on all concrete structures, both vertical and horizontal, recent and old, such as:
• Basements both internally and externally;
• Concrete structures with façade a vista;
• Lift pits, tunnels, subways;
• Marine works and manufactures which require resistance against chlorides;
• Depuration and composting plants, sewages;
• Water containment basins, swimming pools, fire and first-rain basins;
• Potable water tanks, hydric ducts, irrigation channels;
• Civil and military engineering works like bridges, dams, bunkers;
• Prestressed concrete
