PRODUCT PROPERTIES

Cadix is a natural painting made exclusively of natural lime putty and earths, particularly suited to obtain surfaces which look veiled and shady. Because of its features it is particularly suited for the painting of new and old plasters in the restore of historic centres and even for the repair of lime and marble powder coatings. Due to the presence of lime putty, it assures and excellent breathability to the plaster which it is applied on, performing also a disinfectant action against the formation of moulds and bacteria.
It is exclusively realized with seasoned lime putty marked CE.



APPLICATION FIELDS

Cadix is a totally natural painting. This fundamental feature is confirmed by the necessity to perform, before its application, an evaluation of the existing or designed building.
For a correct application of Cadix, as with all paintings based on natural lime putty, it is necessary to verify the presence of the following architectonic elements:
• correctly dimensioned overhang eaves
  (to protect the wall work in all its height from meteoric waters)
• drips at windows, balconies and downpipes
  (to avoid washing out of the surfaces)
• skirting in non absorbing material
  (to protect the lower part of the façade from damage from water)
• eventual "stringcourse"
  (to redimension too large surfaces)
