PRODUCT PROPERTIES

AK 25 is a hydro-expansive joint based on sodic bentonite and a specific organic bound which makes it elastoplastic. When it is in contact with water, it gradually increases its volume and, once confined between concrete and concrete, it assures the sealing of construction joints of underground structures from any water. AK 25 requires no need of anchorage nets in that it is mechanically very resistant, even after the expansion.
