Waterproofing horizontal surfaces
The lean concrete of the foundations is cleaned and dried. After placing
the reinforcement bars, the capillary penetrating osmotic cement X-tra
is applied as 1,2 kg/mq and it is quickly covered with the raft casting.
Once X-tra
has set, the surfaces must be kept humid for 3 days.

Waterproofing vertical walls
Mechanically remove all the concrete defects (gravel nests, flashing,
incoherent parts, spacers, wood, etc.). In the corners between the raft
and the ribs, in correspondence of the construction joints, realize
a channel with 25 x 25 mm minimum dimensions.
Repair and fill the concrete defects with a hand of the capillary penetration
osmotic cement X-tra
in grout form and subsequently close with non-shrinking waterproof CR
45 RS, resistant to sulphates. In the demolished parts,
apply a hand of X-tra
and subsequently realize a shell joint with the non-shrinking waterproof
CR 45 RS.
The capillary system of the concrete is opened by pressure washing (220
- 250 atm) on the surface. Wet the surface to waterproof until rejection
and then eliminate the excess water.
